General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Privacy Policy
At ISV Gate, we have long worked to ensure the safe handling of our customers’ personal data. Therefore, we welcome the new and stricter data protection regulation, GDPR, which came into effect across the EU on May 25. The purpose of the regulation is to impose higher requirements on how companies handle personal data and to provide increased transparency towards employees and customers. As a customer of ISV Gate, you can request information about what data we process and request corrections at any time by contacting us at gdpr@isvgate.com.
How ISV Gate Handles Customers’ Personal Data and Who Has Access
ISV Gate retains customers’ personal data to invoice for the services the customer has agreed upon. Customers typically send their personal data via email or an order form on our website. These emails are not deleted immediately but are stored for up to one year for both the customer’s and ISV Gate’s security. The personal data we collect includes company name, organization number, billing address, email address, and contact information for a reference person. Phone numbers are not routinely stored but may occur.
Employees at ISV Gate, agents at Svea Ekonomi, e-conomic, Fortnox, and Crescendo Revisorer & Konsulter have access to customers’ personal data. This data is stored on secure servers within Sweden’s borders and is deleted when the notice period expires and the service ends.
Newsletter
ISV Gate sends newsletters to customers who have requested them. You have the right to decline further communications at any time. When this occurs, your email address will be deleted from our system, and no further communications will be sent to you.
IP Address
ISV Gate stores visitors’ IP addresses for website traffic statistics and for security and evidence purposes. These are stored on secure servers within Sweden’s borders.
Cookies
ISV Gate’s website uses session cookies. These are deleted when the browser is closed and are not saved.
For Your Safety
ISV Gate values high security in handling customers’ personal data, and we have clear procedures for any incidents. In the event of an incident, we publish an incident report on our website, isvgate.com, and send a detailed report via email to affected customers.
We have also integrated “privacy by design” into our IT systems, meaning our systems have built-in mechanisms to protect personal privacy. ISV Gate also supports data portability, which gives you as a customer the right to retrieve the data you provided to transfer it to another service.
Sharing of Personal Data
ISV Gate does not sell our customers’ personal data. If registered individuals, the Data Inspection Authority, or another third party requests information from ISV Gate regarding the processing of personal data, the parties shall cooperate and exchange necessary information. No party may disclose personal data or information about the processing without the consent of the other party, except if a directive or decision from the relevant authority requires it or if necessary under mandatory legislation.
Consent
By becoming a customer of ISV Gate, you consent to us storing your personal data, as stated in our general terms and conditions. You can withdraw your consent at any time, which means that ISV Gate will stop processing your personal data or update previously provided information. To withdraw consent, please send an email to dataskyddsombud@isvgate.com.
